New Series of Monthly Playwriting Workshops led by Angela Street
These workshops are for playwrights and aspiring playwrights who want to meet other writers, try out new ideas, and develop their skills in a supportive atmosphere. Fun, friendly, informal, sometimes frantic.
Participants will be encouraged to produce professional standard plays suitable for submission to new writing theatres, competitions and theatre companies, as well as to local amateur theatre groups. Writers will be invited to events and opportunities arising at Salisbury Playhouse.
Angela has a MA in Scriptwriting, is an Associate Practitioner at Salisbury Playhouse, where she runs playwriting courses, and is a professional member of The National Association of Writers in Education and The Society of Women Writers and Journalists.
‘Being a writing course addict, Angela’s course is the best a man can get. Not only does she give you excellent theoretical knowledge, but also equips you with fabulous solutions to your writing problems.’ Andrew (MA Directing) Warminster
